Thanks to impermanence, everything is possible.
– Thich Nhat Hanh

I grew up attending the Toronto Buddhist Church (I call it a Temple but the official name is Church). My parents are Jodo Shinshu Buddhist and when I was young we attended the temple every Sunday morning. I went to Dharma school every Sunday and learned about the Buddhist teachings. As I got into high school and university, my attendance at the temple was inconsistent. However, many years later as I started my journey into yoga and meditation I began regularly attending the temple, listening to the Dharma talks, and eventually becoming an active volunteer.

In February 2018 I completed a two-year on-line course in Jodo Shinshu Buddhism and hope to continue my studies with the Temple.

I currently practice and study the Pure Land Teachings of Buddhism based on the Jodo Shinshu practice as well as the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh.
